Special rate for registrants: $135/single occupancy, $10 more per additional occupant

The hotel is immediately adjacent to Irvine and a five minute drive from the UCI campus. A room reservation will be made on your behalf by Jeff Wojciechowski upon registration. A special rate has been arranged at $135 single occupancy ($10 more per additional occupant) including a complimentary full breakfast buffet. The Hotel is 50 minutes directly south of the Los Angeles International Airport following a major interstate freeway (I-405), and minutes from the Orange County Airport. The Orange County Airport is served with non-stop flights from major hubs such as Chicago (American, United), Minneapolis (Delta), Atlanta (Delta), Pittsburgh (US Air), Dallas (American, Delta), St. Louis (American), Denver (United, Frontier, Southwest), Phoenix (Southwest, US Air), Salt Lake City (Delta), Seattle and Portland (Alaska), San Francisco (United, American, Southwest), Oakland (Southwest, Alaska), and San Jose (Southwest, American).  The hotel provides shuttle service from and to the Orange County Airport.  Super Shuttle (1-800-258-3826) serves the hotel from and to the Los Angeles International Airport.

The course includes a tour of the UCI Combustion Laboratory (UCICL) at the University of California, Irvine. The UCICL is engaged in both fundamental and applied studies in gas turbine combustion with emphasis on stationary, aeroengine, and advanced propulsion applications. Laser diagnostic and numerical tools are applied to practical hardware and model combustors under conditions ranging from atmospheric to practical engine environments.


The course includes an evening banquet on March 21, 2018
